        A Japanese national who acted as pimp for minor children without their knowledge by posting their pictures at the web site was arrested by National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) operatives during a raid at his residence in Davao City last week.

        NBI Director Magtanggol B. Gatdula identified the arrested suspect as:

        KAZUHISA AIZAWA, a resident of Tessa’s Place, 749 Gravahan,Matina, Davao City.

            ANGELICA BURGOS SINGH, live-in partner of Aizawa who was present during the raid was also invited for questioning.

            Aizawa was arrested  by virtue of a search warrant issued by Davao City RTC Executive Judge Isaac Robillo Jr. for violation of RA 7610 (Child Abuse), RA 6955 (Matching Filipino Women for Marriage to Foreign Nationals), RA 9208 (Qualified Trafficking in Person) and Unjust Vexation.

            In an investigation report submitted by Acting Regional Director Atty. Max B. Salvador, of the Southeastern Mindanao Regional Office (SEMRO), it was disclosed that  the search warrant was based on the complaint of two 15-year old minors who were  victims. 

            They alleged that Aizawa, an expert in computer, created a website, pinoymarry.com and posted the pictures of the complainants and other minors purportedly available for marriage to foreign nationals.  The ads were without the knowledge and consent of the complainants.

            Complainants sought the help of the NBI in arresting the suspect.  NBI- SEMRO operatives nabbed suspects at his  residence in Matina.

            Found and confiscated were two (2) hard drives, one laptop computer and three (3) cellular phones used in the creation of website, publication and posting of pictures of the complainants and dissemination of  the purpose of the website.  Singh, who was with the suspect was also arrested.

            They are now detained  at the NBI detention cell.
