South Central Market, Lawaan, Talisay City, Cebu NBI Kiosk - accepts renewal of clearance applied from 1998 to present provided that barcode is still clear and readable by the computer. Kiosks accept changes only in address and purpose of clearance. If there would be changes in your NAME, DATE OF BIRTH and PLACE OF BIRTH, you are advised to come personally at the NBI Clearance Center or in any NBI Satellite Office to fill-up a new application form and attach a photocopy of your birth certificate. Kiosk do not accept attached photo.
You can avail of the NBI renewal card if you have already secured your NBI clearance certificate. The certificate must be two (2) months old or less prior to your application for renewal card. Present this certificate to the Renewal Card booth of any of the following NBI offices:

The fee for the Renewal Card is only Php120.00 pesos.
You may proceed to the following NBI offices mentioned on item #4 to secure your NBI clearance certificate using your NBI renewal card. Your personal presence is required.
Yes. You can send a representative with your Authorization Letter. Be sure that your authorized representative have the original copy of your previous clearance certificate with your latest 2x2 picture (white background) attached. Update the information that needs to be updated, else write Same Data if there are no changes. Renewal only allows changes in address and purpose of clearance. If there would be changes in your NAME, DATE OF BIRTH and PLACE OF BIRTH, you are advised to come personally at the NBI Carriedo Clearance Center or at any NBI Office to fill-up a new application form with the photocopy of your birth certificate attached. NBI KIOSKS do not accept renewal of clearance handed by your representative.

You can visit the nearest Philippine Consulate Office and ask for a Fingerprint Card Form. a.) Fingerprint Card Form – fill up the personal data called for on both sides of this card truthfully and legibly. b.) Request the assistance/endorsement of the nearest Philippines Consulate Office or the police agency in your locality to have your fingerprints impressed (ROLLED IMPRESSION) on the appropriate spaces. The officer/person who fingerprinted you should sign his name, state his official designation on the space provided for the purpose on the card. c.) In case you are a married woman, the order of writing your name is as follows: c.1) Your maiden surname (father’s surname). c.2) Your husband’s surname. c.3) Your first name or given name. c.4) Your maternal surname (family name of your mother) d.) Attach a latest copy of your 2”x2” photograph with white background (taken within three (3) months prior to your application). e.) Enclose Money Order in the sum of Php 200.00 Philippine currency or bank draft which is negotiable in the Philippines payable to the Director, National Bureau of Investigation, Taft Avenue, Ermita 1000 Manila, Philippines. We will mail to you the corresponding clearance certificate after we have processed your application papers. Processing of application normally takes a maximum of three (3) days excluding days of transit. You may also send your accomplished form to your relative/representative here in the Philippines together with your authorization letter authorizing him/her to transact business on your behalf. Your relative may visit the office of the Electronic Data Processing Division (EDPD) in NBI Taft Avenue, Manila for further assistance. Upon receipt of your clearance certificate, please examine it for the presence of the embossed NBI DRY SEAL at its lower left portion, the clearance is invalid without it. You must also affix your clear and properly taken THUMBPRINT on the space provided for on the clearance certificate with the assistance of any local police in your area before submitting it to your end-user.

You may send a letter address to the Director of the NBI requesting for assistance. The Bureau will send a fingerprint technician to take fingerprint impressions of your father right in your residence.
You will be required to fill-up a new fingerprint card. Name, Date of Birth and Place of Birth are vital information and any change thereof will be our permanent record. You will also be required to attach a copy of your NSO authenticated birth certificate.
a. NBI-CARRIEDO Applicants - for those without namesake, clearance certificates are released within (30) minutes. For those with namesake, their applications is subject for further verification and have to wait for forty-eight (48) hours before clearances are released. b. NBI-KIOSK Renewal Applicants – 1. METRO MANILA - for those without namesake, clearance certificates are released within 2-3 minutes. For those with namesake, they are advised to proceed to NBI Clearance Center in Carriedo for further verification. Clearance will be released the following day. 2. REGIONAL / DISTRICT OFFICES - for those without namesake, clearance certificates are released within the same day. For those with namesake, they are advised to proceed to NBI Offices near their place for further verification. c. NBI-SATELLITE Applicants - 1. COMPUTERIZED SATELLITE OFFICE – for those without namesake, clearance certificates are released within one (1) day. For those with namesake, clearances will be released after 7 working days or upon advice by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC). 2. NOT COMPUTERIZED SATELLITE OFFICE – all clearances will be released after 7 working days upon application. d. NBI-REGION/DISTRICT Applicants – COMPUTERIZED REGIONAL/DISTRICT OFFICE – for those without namesake, Clearance certificates are released within one (1) day. For those with namesake, clearances will be released after 7 working days or upon advice by the Officer-in-Charge.
- You will attach a copy of the court decision on your new application. Your new name will be reflected as your true name and your old name will appear as your alias.
- Since your case is already dismissed, this will not be reflected on your clearance. Instead, you will be interviewed at the Quality Control Section and will be required to submit the court disposition.
