EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

ARLENE AQUINO, et. al for Intentional Abortion

            At 2:00 p.m. of April 27, 2012, NBI-Region XI Agents in flagrante delicto arrested ARLENE AQUINO, GLENDA ABEAR and MARISSA SARILLANA performing abortion inside Marie Stopes Clinic.  It was learned that in exchange for a fee of Ten Thousand Pesos (PHP 10,000.00), Subjects ARLENE AQUINO, et.al. offered to abort the fetus inside Complainant-Victim PRINCES JOY CANLAS, who reported the matter to NBI-Region XI, which later hatched the sting operation resulting to the arrest of the suspects.  Preparations are underway to charge all three (3) subjects for Intentional Abortion before the Davao City Prosecutor’s Office.
