EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

KIM   HYUNTAEK (Korean National)
for Syndicated Large Scale Illegal Recruitment

            On May 24, 2012, at about 4:00 in the afternoon, Subjects KIM HYUNTAEK, IVAN JADE PAGARAN SALCEDO and JAMES DACULA MANALILI were arrested by operatives of NBI-Region XI (Davao City), after receiving the amount of Php27,000.00 from one of the Complainants JOANNA MAE VUELBAN as part of the processing fee demanded by Subjects. 

            Korean National KIM HYUNTAEK and his cohorts recruited Filipino women in Davao City allegedly to work in a restaurant in Korea and demanded money as payment for the processing of Visa.  Philippine Overseas Employment Office (POEA) certified that Subjects are not authorized nor license to recruit in the Philippines.

            Subjects were charged on Inquest before the office of the City Prosecutor Davao City for SYNDICATED LARGE SCALE ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT (I.S.# 12-E-00758).
