Anti-Illegal Logging Operation
               

          In the early morning of March 14, 2012, a combined team of NBI Agents, Army soldiers and personnel from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) conducted a raid on an illegal sawmill located in Barangay Kabacsanan, Iligan City.  Seized from that unlawful enterprise were:

       a) One (1) unit Toyota 4k engine with transmission;

       b) One (1) set of bun saw (‘banso’);

       c) 1,210 board feet of lumber;

       d) 2,934 board feet of Gemelina logs.

       Preparations are underway to file the necessary criminal charges against those responsible for the operation of said illegal sawmill.
