MARY GRACE BAUTISTA-FERNANDEZ

for Falsification of Public Documents

          Sometime in March 22, 2011, Agent ELENA PALAGANAS of NBI-CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region) in Baguio City, responded to the request of the PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) to investigate MARY GRACE BAUTISTA-FERNANDEZ, who was trying to have her credentials authenticated. It appeared that Subject MARY GRACE presented purportedly a PRC issued card declaring her a professional teacher, a Board Certificate and a certification, which were later discovered to be spurious with entries therein as non-existent. She was later indicated and convicted for violation of Art. 172 (1) in relation to Art. 171 (1 and 2) of the Revised Penal Code by the Municipal Trial Court of Lingayen. Agent PALAGANAS' testimony was instrumental in the conviction of the accused.
